Date March 15, 2012 AISPA writ petition in Bombay High Court (Criminal) 3611/2011 has been fixed for the hearing { 10:00 AM } ! This case is according to supplementary board is at no. 1 ! There is complete possibility of it’s hearing as soon as the court opens ! It’s a humble request to all the panelists from Mumbai to be present at the court in a large number ! If possible please wear the SpeakAsia’s t-shirts ! At least this way everyone will get a chance to meet each other once again ! The panelists out of Mumbai are also welcomed ! For becoming an active member with voting rights a Member has to fill the attached form and pay an annual membership of Rs.120/- (Payable by DD or Pay order only) favoring Speakasia Panelist Association of India

The first General Body Meeting will be called sometime in the last week of March 2012 and the first elections to elect the Committee members will also be held on this day.

There Was hearing in High Court Today which is now listed on 15 March. and Court has instructed Mr. Navnit Khosla To Be Present in Mediation Meet that is scheduled in Coming week and he has only 2 option left, Either wait for Company`s Restart or Opt for Exit. Details is expected to come in evening.

Regarding Exit option

It is reliably learnt that Justice Lahoti ji has taken note of EOW ‘s intermittent absence from the mediation process and will adversely report the same to the Hon’ble SC. One further step towards exit payment has been taken yesterday and within four to five days we will see the public outcome of company’s efforts.

The learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, states that the mediation proceedings are still in progress. The next meeting before the Mediator appointed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court is slated on 19th January, 2012. The statement so made is accepted by the leaned Public Prosecutor. The learned Public Prosecutor also agrees that, till the next date before the Mediator, hearing of this Petition be deferred.
In the circumstances, this Petition be now listed on 25th January, 2012 under caption “Directions”.
We place on record the grievance of the Respondent No. 3complainant that according to him, Petition has not been
amended inspite of the order given by this court in terms of order dated 9th December, 2011. We have told him that in the Judge’s paper book, amendment has already been carried out. He is free to interact with the advocate for the petitioner and ensure that the amended copy of the petition is available with him on the next date of hearing.
The learned APP submits that, he would like to file reply affidavit, which can be filed on or before 23rd January, 2012.

AISPA President Melvin Crasto taken in Custody

Mr. Melvin Crasto, President of All India Speakasia Panelist Association (AISPA), has been taken in custody by the EOW officials in Mumbai for interrogation. This comes as a big surprise for all of us. Mr. Melvin will be produced before the Qila court Mumbai, today (25th November) at around 2PM.
 

Speakasians in and around Mumbai are requested to gather and show their support to one of the panelist Mr.Melvin, who has done a great job of pushing information through AISPA website in hours of need.
